Hi allDay 4 of the new Scooter Radio station saw our highest number of visitors yet, giving a total of nine hours of listening time for the day. That's really not bad at all for an internet radio station starting from scratch, and I'm sure it is down to the style of music we play.
There is a very active, friendly, supportive community in the scooter world, which covers quite a few musical tastes. But underlying it all is a liking for Northern Soul, mod sounds etc, and a wish to listen to it as much as possible.
I've found that on Facebook there is a huge number of like-minded folk and a great range of groups all interested in the scooter, 60s, soul, mod lifestyle - so I've linked up with many of them and I hope that those who have already listened to Scooter Radio are enjoying it.
There are 69 tracks on the playlist at the moment - I'll list them for you later in the week. I can put a few more up, but then I reach a limit for my package with Live365 and will have to pay to upgrade. I'll only do that if the listening figures justify it - there's no point if no one is out there enjoying it!
The station is on air FREE 24/7. The playlist - over three hours of top tunage - is on a loop, so no matter what time you tune in, you'll be able to enjoy some great stuff.
I can't really take requests as a result, but if there is something you desperately think should be added to the playlist, please leave a comment.

First time listening today, been on for about 5 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it thanks. Plenty of songs that take me back to do's and rallys. My six year old kept asking when Ska Pig by Mark Foggo was coming on, so if you're taking requests..... Glad you took the initiative, keep it going and keep on keeping on my friend.

I'll add your song to those that I'll try and get on the playlist. I have to do them in chunks rather than one at a time!
